Black Necked Grebe updates

Black Necked Grebes usually arrive back early to mid-March. The majority of adults and larger juveniles leave in July with smaller juveniles staying into early August.

10 Jul - 26 Black Necked Grebe, 10 adult & 16 juvenile

13 Jun - 12 Black Necked Grebe young No3 bed

05 Jun - 27 Black Necked Grebe, 15 adult and 10-12 young

03 Jun - Black-necked Grebe count, 22 adults and 12 to 14 young

22 May - 7 possibly 8 broods recorded

13 May - 4th brood Black Necked Grebe No3 bed

09 May - 3rd brood reported from Rotary Hide, still two broods from Tower Hide

06 May - one, possibly 2 broods of Black Necked Grebe reported

17 Apr - 26 Black Necked Grebe counted on No3 bed

13 Apr - Black Necked Grebe count now up to 23

08 Apr - Count of Grebes has risen to 21 on No3 bed

04 Apr - 20 Black Necked Grebes on No3 bed

02 Apr - 19 Black Necked Grebe confirmed on No3 bed

27 Mar - 15 Black Necked Grebe counted on No3 bed

23 Mar - 11 Black Necked Grebes confirmed
